Applicants are admitted for entrance in either the August or January semester. Applications will be accepted anytime prior to the semester desired. If a requested starting date is full, applicants can choose to start the program in the following semester.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and a high school graduate or equivalent. There is no maximum age limit. The NWS provides equal opportunity for all persons regardless of age, race, creed, disability, sex, religion, sexual preference, or political preference.
Applicants are required to visit the school and interview with the instructor to fully understand the commitment.
No credit is given for previous violin making education except in rare cases and only upon approval of the instructor. A list of required tools for the first semester will be provided by the school upon enrollment.
